Callicvol QuiltsCALLICVOL QUILTS offers you a unique patchwork quilt by meeting your specific requirements for size, design, fabrics, colours or clan tartan. Ours is a personal, friendly service providing a free consultation and quotation. As part of this service we can supply fabric samples for your consideration. Whether your taste is original, traditional or contemporary, or somewhere in between, we can work with you to find the right colours and design to suit your needs. Smaller products include wall-hangings, cushions, placemats, tea-cosies, cafetiere cosies, album/binder covers and pot-holders - all are made to order in colours or tartan of your choice. All items are individually designed and made in the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. We use no mass-production techniques and you can be assured of the highest attention to detail and quality. Our delivery times reflect this. 
We make quilts in traditional block patterns, adaptations of these and original designs. The best quality pure cotton is used and either wool, cotton, polyester/cotton or polyester/viscose for the Tartan range. Some items in the Hebridean range incorporate Harris Tweed. We offer a choice of cotton or polyester wadding (batting) and all quilts are backed with 100% cotton. If you would like us to make a "memory" quilt using your old clothing from childhood or to remember a loved one, we are happy to assist. |
